Buy InSoFast closed-cell, injection-molded EPS foam insulated wall panels and get free shipping throughout the contiguous United States. The panels can be applied universally to any interior or exterior wall assembly in both new and retrofit construction projects.
InSoFast, LLC, established in 2006, develops energy efficient building systems that exceed present and future energy codes, outperform the competition, and simplify the construction process.
Our patented and patent pending EPS panels are shipped to project sites across the country from our manufacturing facilities in Idaho, Massachusetts and Minnesota. The UX 2.0 panels can also be special ordered at most Menards home improvement stores throughout the Midwest.

About Rigid Foam Insulation
There are three types of rigid foam insulation – polyisocyanurate (ISO), extruded polystyrene (XPS) and expanded polystyrene (EPS).
EPS insulation, such as InSoFast, has the highest average R-value per dollar of the rigid foams (about R-4.6 per inch) and the R-value does not degrade over time. EPS is also the most versatile of the rigid foam insulations because you can use it anywhere in the building envelope, from ceilings to walls to floors, and even below grade.
Choosing EPS over a combination of other insulating materials is typically the most cost-effective option. And, because our EPS panels are very lightweight, they can be easily cut and installed on the jobsite and require no special safety gear to handle.
Insulating an Interior Wall
Suitable for insulating interior walls, floors and ceilings, InSoFast UX 2.0 Panels are ideal for both DIY residential projects and large-scale commercial projects.
Each panel is 2-inches thick with a flat surface that exposes the face of the embedded studs. The EPS body is manufactured with a fire-retardant additive and serves as a Class III vapor barrier.
With R-8.5 continuous insulation, a simple, stackable interlocking design, rot-resistant framing, electrical raceways, and drainage channels, the panel provides a very cost-effective interior insulation solution.
Need a higher R-value? The thicker InSoFast EXi 2.5 Panel, at 2 ½-inches thick, is an excellent choice. Tighter interlocks and recessed studs keep the EX barrier truer and straighter. This panel’s continuous R-value of 10 outperforms traditionally framed R-15 batt walls and provides 20% more insulation than our UX panels.
Insulating an Exterior Wall
The InSoFast EXe 2.5 Panel is an R-10 continuous insulation (CI) weather screen assembly that is optimized for exterior usage and maximizes energy efficiency and moisture management. The R-value outperforms traditionally framed R-15 batt walls.
The 2 ½-inch thick EXe 2.5 Panels panels feature dual-sided engineered drainage channels that allow multi-directional air flow and help ensure that no moisture penetrates the wall assembly, providing drainability and breathability in a simple easy-to-install system.
InSoFast panels can be installed over your existing weather resistant barrier or house wrap. They serve as a secondary weather resistant barrier that is well-suited to absorptive claddings such as stucco or stone and provide a much-needed capillary break from wood framed walls and sheathing.
Siding can be attached directly to the panel’s embedded stud framing. The polypropylene plastic studs have the same structural strength of 20-gauge steel studs but, unlike metal, do not conduct heat and will not disrupt the home’s thermal protection.
