Looking for a one-step solution to your insulation needs? InSoFast is the answer. If you live in the Pennsylvania area and are thinking about doing some remodeling, consider InSofast insulation wall panels for your project. Our closed-cell, injection molded EPS foam insulated paneling can be an easy DIY project.
InSoFast has two types of interior insulation wall panels:
- UX 2.0 is a closed-cell, injection-molded EPS foam body panel with R-8.5 continuous insulation. Each UX 2.0 panel measures 24 inches x 48 inches x 2 inches and is very easy for the DIY (do-it-yourselfer) to install.
- EXi 2.5 is a closed-cell injection molded EPS foam body also. It has a continuous R-value of 10 and provides 20% more insulation than our UX panels. Each EXi panel measures 24 inches x 48 inches x 2.5 inches and is easy for the DIY to install.
Benefits of these panels:
- Are closed-cell instead of open-cell
- Are made of flame-retardant material
- Serve as Class III vapor barriers
- The panels don’t absorb moisture which prevents mold and mildew
- Has self-leveling tongue and groove interlocks
- Has electrical pathways which run horizontally at 24-inch and vertically at 16-inch on center
Insofast has one type of exterior insulation wall panel:
- EXe 2.5 is a closed-cell injection-molded EPS foam body that is used on exterior walls. Each panel achieves an R-10 continuous insulation. The EXe 2.5 panel serves as a Class III vapor barrier and its EPS body is made of a fire-retardant material. Because these panels are typically used on exterior walls, they do not have built-in electrical raceways. They measure 24 inches x 48inches x 2.5 inches.
Both our interior and the exterior panels feature built in studs. Each panel has 3 studs that are that align every 16-in o.c.. The studs provide a solid surface that can support drywall attachment and cabinets or TVs. The studs are not prone to rot, decay, or moisture damage. These studs also make it easy to install the panels against a variety of wall surfaces, such as concrete, stone or brick.
Shipping Container Insulation Wall Panels
Most companies purchase new shipping containers instead of having their old ones shipped back. Because of this, there are hundreds and thousands of shipping containers out there for the public to purchase. The hot item on the market today is to purchase one of these shipping containers and convert it to a tiny home, office, or other use. Two or three containers can be joined together if needed, to make a larger home. Of course, shipping containers are metal boxes, so the need for insulation panels is definitely on the rise.
InSoFast also manufactures insulation wall panels for shipping containers.. InSoFast CX Container Panels and Inserts are designed specifically for the side walls, ceilings and floors of most shipping containers. Their thin profile takes up only two inches of interior space. The panels are set up for an 11-inch repeating pattern of the ribs and the panel size is 44” x 24”.
We have kits available for 20-foot and 40-foot containers with either standard 8-foot or high cube 9-foot ceilings, or get in touch with us for custom configurations.
