Installing InSoFast Insulation Panels
As the name implies, InSoFast insulation systems come together quickly and easily. With a bit of Loctite PL Premium 3X Stronger Construction Adhesive, you can affix panels directly to flat surfaces via embedded studs. These embedded studs, occurring every 16” on center, are sturdy and able to hold up to 250 pounds per stud.
Your installation will begin with one panel, and the system will grow stronger with each additional InSoFast insulation panel you apply. Ceiling applications can make use of a T-brace until the adhesive has completely affixed, and application will be far easier with a running bond pattern.
An alternative method of applying InSoFast insulation panels to the ceiling is to make use of mechanical fasteners. You’ll apply six on each panel every 12 inches on center via the recessed attachment locations on each stud.
Finishing with Drywall
