Insulated Basement Wall Panels

Include InSoFast insulated basement wall panels as part of your finishing process to include moisture protection, rot-resisting framing, and highly effective insulation with one simple step.

Basement areas are vulnerable to moisture and cold, but InSoFast insulation panels provide a solution through airtight continuous insulation systems. The panels have notches along the edges to facilitate tape-free installation and you won’t need extra help, expert skills, or special tools.

InSoFast insulation panels are not subject to thermal energy loss or degradation over time, include a non-conductive frame that will not rot, and take practically no time to install. You will protect your home from moisture and the mold, mildew, and pests that accompany its presence.

Insulated Basement Wall Panels

InSoFast insulation paneling has incredible features and advantages. Each panel includes wiring runways that run both horizontally and vertically. This feature makes wiring easy, and the foam is easily modified with a utility knife to accommodate the outlet box.

The panels also include non-ferrous studs deep within the panels. Thermal bridging doesn’t occur because the studs are not conductive and are sheathed in the insulating EPS foam. These studs are strong! Each one can hold up to 250 pounds and provides a way to attach the panels to the wall as well as a place of support for drywall.

The durability of InSoFast insulation panels is without compare. Our panels won’t break down – physically or chemically. They won’t fall, settle, or experience damage from moisture. The R-value is stable, and the product doesn’t release toxins like CFCs or HCFCs.

The incredible insulating power of InSoFast insulation panels comes through closed-cell, injection-molded Expanded Polytyrene foam. The R-value is double that of panels with open-cell technology, and the airtight fit of the insulation system allows it to outperform traditional insulation options with a similar R-value.

With a thin profile, InSoFast insulation panels will leave as much room as possible within your basement space. You can choose between the UX 2.0 panel at 2” or the EXi 2.5 panel at 2 ½”. Adhering these panels to your wall is simple. All the tools you’ll need are a utility knife and saw for modifications and a caulking gun with Loctite PL Premium 3X Stronger Construction Adhesive.

Both residential and commercial construction endeavors will benefit from using InSoFast insulation products.

InSoFast interior insulation is available in two different product lines. The first, base level insulation protection is the UX 2.0 panel. The 2’x4’ panel is made with an additive that resists fire and operates as a Class III vapor barrier. The 2” EPS closed cell foam creates an R-value of 8.5, but the airtight system outperforms insulation that proclaims an R-value of 13.

The other InSoFast interior insulation product is the EXi 2.5 panel. This panel is also 2’x4’, but it’s ½” thicker. The embedded studs are a bit deeper within the foam, and the edges have tongue-and groove notches. These features make the system created from these panels airtight and able to bridge irregularities without losing any of the trueness or straightness desired in construction.
