Insulated Panel Systems

Insulated panel systems speed up construction without sacrificing the quality of insulation or the durability of the structure. InSoFast insulation provides continuous insulation that’s appropriate for new constructions as well as remodels.

Since 2006, InSoFast insulation panels have created wall systems of powerful insulation that meet and exceed existing and future codes. Our products regularly outperform traditional batt insulation, and they make insulation easier and faster to install – regardless of your skill level.

The Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) closed-cell foam composition of InSoFast insulation panels produces twice the R-value, or resistance to energy loss, as that of open-cell foam insulation. This foam doesn’t degrade, so our panels don’t lose effectiveness or release toxins over time.

Insulated Panel Systems

Continuous insulation has no thermal bridging where energy is lost. Often, this bridging occurs at wooden studs or open spaces and where fasteners lie. InSoFast insulation panels mitigate this factor.

Our panels have embedded studs that are not conductive and are fully sheathed within the insulation, so the airtight system of panels connected to one another provides uninterrupted insulation coverage. The panels are stackable, lightweight, and require little in the way of construction skills or tools.

Exterior Applications

The InSoFast EXe 2.5 panel provides continuous insulation with an R-value of 10 that outperforms traditional insulation methods with an R-value of 15. This product line is for use outside, so it prioritizes weather resistance and moisture control.

This panel features a thickness of 2 ½” and drainage channels on each side of the panel. Moisture won’t permeate and any vapor will drain, protecting the exterior from moisture becoming trapped within the wall.

Installing these panels on the home’s exterior is versatile. You can put it directly over your existing weather barrier or house wrap. Our panels will function as a secondary barrier for weather resistance, and they’re appropriate for all kinds of finishing products. The embedded studs within the panels even facilitate the application of siding by providing an easy-to-access place of purchase.

Interior Applications

Employing InSoFast insulation panels on the home’s interior will take the form of either UX 2.0 or EXi 2.5 panels.

The UX 2.0 product has a 2” thickness and a flat surface with exposed faces of embedded studs. The R-value is 8.5, and the built-in framing is rot-resistant. Other features include moisture control channels, wiring raceways, and a maneuverable design. This base level panel is affordable and widely suitable for floors, ceilings, and walls.

The EXi 2.5 panel is 20% stronger with a 2 ½” thick panel. The recessed studs and tongue-and-groove notches along the edges allow the panel to cover irregularities along concrete walls such as those found in many basements. The R-value is 10, but the system of continuous insulation outperforms competitors with an R-value of 15.
