Shipping containers are made from steel, so making the adjustments to use them as homes, offices, churches, or classrooms will require high quality insulation. Finding a method to insulate a container that is both effective and DIY-friendly will make a significant difference in your project and is as close as InSoFast insulation products.

With a revolutionary design, InSoFast products are sought after by professionals and hobbyists alike. The company began operations in 2006, and in the time since, we have produced and sold American-made Expanded Polystyrene foam insulation from our facilities in South Dakota, Massachusetts, Idaho, and Minnesota.
InSoFast CX 44 Shipping Container Panels
The CX panel is made for shipping container projects. They’re installed horizontally so that the embedded studs line up perfectly against the corrugated ridges following an 11” repeating pattern.
InSoFast Container InSerts Paired with InSoFast Panels
InSoFast InSerts are meant to fill the depths of the container’s corrugated sides. Once they’re glued in place, the result is a flat, smooth surface that’s perfect to receive a layer of InSoFast insulation. The insulation that covers the InSerts can be from either our UX 2.0 or EXi 2.5 line. The difference lies in the panels’ thickness, R-value, and alignment features.
InSoFast CX-LP LowPro Studs
CX-LP LowPro studs are another option that provides the non-ferrous structure and support of InSoFast panels without the bulk. This makes them more affordable and easier to maneuver.
