InSoFast the Best Exterior Insulation
The primary purpose of a building’s roof and external walls is to protect the interior from the outside environment. InSoFast continuous insulation wall panels are easy to install, weather resistant, cost-effective, and capable of supporting fiber-cement siding or even stone veneer.

Universal Insulation
InSoFast is a style of engineered continuous thermally stable insulation. The 2-foot x 4-foot closed-cell, injection-molded, interlocking EPS foam panels come in varying depths and can be applied universally to any interior or exterior wall assembly.
The InSoFast EXe 2.5 Panel is an R-10 continuous insulation (CI) weather screen assembly that is optimized for exterior use and maximizes energy efficiency and moisture management.
Both sides of the EXe 2.5 panel and the EXi 2.5 panel (which includes pre-engineered electrical raceways) feature ORSC, Section R703.1.1-approved rain screen and drainage technology. Their continuous R-value of 10 outperforms traditionally framed R-15 batt walls.
These 2 ½-inch thick panels feature dual-sided engineered drainage channels that allow multi-directional air flow and help ensure that no moisture penetrates the wall assembly. They provide drain ability and breathability in a simple easy-to-install system.
Panel Features
InSoFast panels can be installed over your existing weather resistant barrier or house wrap. They serve as a secondary weather resistant barrier that is well-suited to absorptive claddings such as stucco or stone and provide a much-needed capillary break from wood framed walls and sheathing.
Siding can be attached directly to the panel’s embedded stud framing. The polypropylene plastic studs have the same structural strength of 20-gauge steel studs but, unlike metal, do not conduct heat and will not disrupt the home’s thermal protection.
Exterior finishing options include thin brick, metal panels, tile, cultured stone, stucco, and cement board siding, to name a few. The panels are rated for up to 2” thick adhered stone or brick. All finishes mount to the same CI-System so that one building can have several different looks without disrupting the rainscreen or the primary building envelope.
With tightly interlocking tongue-and-groove edges that don’t require taping, the installation of InSoFast EX 2.5 Panels could not be any easier and requires only a utility knife, saw (hand, jig, skill or table), screw gun or optional nail gun, and gap and crack foam to seal corners/openings and at the top of the wall.
To increase the R-Value beyond R-10 code minimums while maintaining the engineered benefits of continuous InSoFast panels, develop an InSoFast PLUS wall. Add any amount of rigid foam over the InSoFast base panels to go from R-10 to R-21.
You can purchase a flat panel sample to see if InSoFast is right for your project. Sample packages demonstrate all the key engineered features of the panel and include an installation guide and other product literature. If you decide to use InSoFast, we will credit the price of the sample to your order of more than nine boxes of InSoFast panels.
