InSoFast insulation panels make it possible to upgrade a home’s insulation from the exterior, with simple features designed into the foam board insulation that make it easy to know how to install the product directly onto the walls. This direct application means you won’t have to break into the wall cavity or hire professionals to drill holes and blow in insulation.
The innovative nature of the InSoFast insulation panel design makes it easy for professional and novice installers. The popularity of our panels has continued to grow since our founding in 2006 because of how well the insulation system works, how easy the panels are to install, and the versatile nature of application options. Any flat surface can be insulated with our panels, and we make products specifically for interior, exterior, and shipping container insulation projects.
American-made, InSoFast insulation panels ship for free to project sites within the continental US from our factories in Massachusetts, Minnesota, and Idaho.
Upgrade Insulation with No Demo Required
As a home ages, its fiberglass insulation will begin to fail and will need to be upgraded. However, homeowners are often discouraged from going forward with the project by the thought of the required demolition and expensive labor costs. InSoFast exterior insulation panels allow homeowners to go forward, on their own, and apply the panels directly onto the exterior of the home with no demo or remediation required.
The InSoFast insulation panels designed for exterior applications, the Flat Panel EXe 2.5, is 2’x4’x2.5”. These dimensions make solo work possible, and the tight connection of the panels to one another make the process of installation exactly as advertised: In-So-Fast. The panels are made of closed-cell Expanded Polystyrene foam that is injection-molded into a special design with features to promote effectiveness and straightforward installation.
Homeowners can apply InSoFast panels over the existing weather resistant barrier, and the system functions as a secondary weather resistant barrier. The cladding options are essentially unlimited and can transition over the length of the home.
The insulation panels are R-10 thermally efficient, and when connected into a system, create continuous insulation that outperforms fiberglass insulation with higher R-values on the label.
The panels feature moisture control channels on each side and prevent the loss of thermal energy or vapor intrusion.
Installation of the panels can be completed with construction adhesive, masonry adhesives, or mechanical attachment with screws or nails. Once in place, finishing materials can be attached straight onto the embedded studs. Each of the studs can hold up to 250 pounds with the same strength as a 20-gauge steel stud.
Whether you’re building a home from the ground up or upgrading the insulation of an older home, InSoFast insulation panels provide terrific protection without requiring professional installation, demo, or abatement to achieve it.
