Insulated Panel Suppliers

Cost-effective insulation solution for interior walls, floors and ceilings

As EPS insulated panel suppliers, InSoFast manufactures its patented and patent pending engineered continuous insulation products in the USA and ships free of charge to project sites across the country from our facilities in Idaho, Massachusetts and Minnesota.

InSoFast, LLC, established in 2006, develops energy efficient building systems that exceed present and future energy codes, outperform the competition, and simplify the construction process. Our 2-foot x 4-foot interlocking panels of varying depths can improve the energy efficiency, durability, and overall performance of your interior and exterior wall assemblies, as well as the interiors of most shipping containers.

Why R-Value Matters

The purpose of insulation is to reduce the flow of heat out of your home during the winter and to keep the heat from entering the home on a warm summer day. R-value is the measurement of the insulation’s ability to resist this thermal (heat) transfer. The R-value depends on the type of insulation, its thickness, and its density.

The higher the R-value, the greater the insulating power, which means warm air inside your home will take longer to bleed through walls or ceilings and help maintain a constant temperature. If you live in a cold climate, you will want insulation with a higher R-value.

High R-value alone, however, will not meet your needs if small gaps and fissures in your building materials allow heat to escape. It’s important to ensure that the space is fully filled with insulation in order for your home to be energy efficient during the winter months.

With traditional fiberglass and wood framing, each wood stud represents a thermal short circuit where moisture-filled, heat-transferring air can pass through the barrier. The stud area accounts for 15% to 25% of the wall surface and significantly reduces the R-value of the fiberglass.

Consider insulating with engineered EPS foam panels, such as InSoFast, instead of fiberglass panels, particularly in moisture-prone basements.

The InSoFast UX 2.0 panel is 2-inches thick and has a flat surface that exposes the face of the embedded studs. With R-8.5 continuous insulation, rot-resistant framing, drainage channels, electrical raceways, and a simple, stackable interlocking design, this panel is a very cost-effective insulation solution for interior walls, floors and ceilings and are suitable for both DIY residential projects and large-scale commercial projects.

For a higher R-value, the EXi 2.5 Panel, at 2 ½-inches thick, has a continuous R-value of 10 and provides 20% more insulation than our UX panels.  The injection-molded panels can be applied universally to any interior or exterior wall assembly in both new and retrofit construction projects.

The InSoFast EX 2.5 Panel is an R-10 continuous insulation (CI) weather screen assembly that is optimized for exterior usage and maximizes energy efficiency and moisture management. The R-value outperforms traditionally framed R-15 batt walls and provides 20% more insulation than our UX panels.
