Who We Are

InSoFast, LLC, began operations in 2006 as a provider of revolutionary insulation products designed for commercial-grade energy efficiency. As the convenience of installation and the effectiveness of the products became well known, our insulation panels quickly caught on within the home improvement market.

We proudly offer an American-made product, shipping without surcharge to project sites within the continental US from our manufacturing facilities in Massachusetts, Minnesota, Idaho, and South Dakota.

The Best Option for Insulating a Shipping Container Comes in InSoFast Insulation Panel Form

InSoFast insulation products, composed of Expanded Polystyrene Foam, are available in a few different product lines devised for shipping container projects.

InSoFast CX 44 Shipping Container Insulation Panels fit against the side walls of shipping containers as though they were made for them, which they were. The panels are slim at 2” deep and follow a repeating pattern every 11”. Each panel also includes two strong, non-ferrous studs that rest against the corrugated ridges vertically when the panels are installed horizontally. This placement allows for the application of construction adhesive for a sturdy fit.

InSoFast End Wall, Side Wall, and Ceiling InSerts are sleeves of insulation foam that fill the recesses created by corrugation. This ingenious design fills up all of the empty space, and the resulting flat surface should be covered by a wall system of InSoFast interior insulation panels.

InSoFast CX-LP LowPro Embedded Studs work well for projects where running services is unnecessary. This product line is cheaper, but it lacks raceways for running electric wiring. The CX-LP studs go along the ridges as the InSerts fill the recessed spaces. Then, a rigid foam board of any brand will fill the space between the studs.

We offer kits for purchase to make your ordering process easy. They’re available for a 20’ or 40’ shipping container with either an 8’ high or 9’ high cube ceiling. You can also measure and call us for a customized order.

Insulation for a Metal Container Home

Every structure needs insulation, but a container home demands insulation because of the strong conductive nature of the metal container. Without quality insulation installed in an effective fashion, the project will experience frequent condensation that encourages corrosion, swift temperature transitions for an unbearably hot or cold interior, and an amplified noisy interior sure to inspire daily migraines.

While you can find many different insultation products on the market for your shipping container project, including spray foam and fiberglass batting, the clear winner in the battle of insulation is InSoFast insulation panels. We make them to work within your budget and your schedule without sacrificing one iota of quality or effectiveness. In addition, the panels eliminate the need for separate framing, facilitate wiring, and mitigate moisture.
