Basement Insulation Minnesota

Add a blanket of insulation to the basement of your Minnesota home to enjoy a cozy winter during which you won’t go broke keeping your family warm. InSoFast insulation panels offer you the ability to complete the project without hiring professionals or sacrificing quality.

Win the Battle against the Cold

In the fight against cold weather, insulation is your best defense. We offer insulation panels that meet all existing and projected energy regulations with closed-cell EPS foam and a continuous system of insulation. Our systems outperform fiberglass insulation with higher R-values on the label.

Basement Insulation Minnesota

While we produce insulation for interior, exterior, and shipping container applications, the interior panels are best suited to basement transformations. These panels include the 2.0 Flat Panel or 2.5 Flat Panel.

Each product line is made from closed-cell, non-porous EPS foam injection-molded into precise panels with patented and patent-pending features. The closed-cell foam doubles the insulation strength of panels with open-cell foam insulation. The panels are chemically and physically stable; they will not degrade or give off toxins within your home.

The universal dimensions of our panels create a unit that is easy to stack, carry, and install. The panels are 2’x4’, so you don’t need extra help to get this job done. The way that the panels connect along the edges eliminate any need for taping during the process. The wall system becomes stronger as each unit joins the next.

This connection is so tight that air will not permeate the unit, creating a highly effective insulating shield for your home. The panels even include polypropylene studs every 16”, so your coverage isn’t interrupted by the appearance of a stud as it is with fiberglass and some spray foam designs.

Install It on Your Own

When you choose InSoFast insulation panels, you can bypass the expense of labor and install the panels yourself. The interlocking notched alignment edges will keep the panel straight and true, which is good for the insulation wall as well as the drywall that will follow. Our panels even include indicator lines to demonstrate where these studs lie.

Each panel includes service channels that run in both directions to ease the process of wiring along with moisture control channels to eliminate any condensation or moisture from within the wall cavity.

Install your InSoFast insulation panels with a utility knife, saw of some kind, caulk gun, Loctite PL Premium 3X Stronger Construction Adhesive, expanding spray foam, and static guard.

Flat Panels of InSoFast Insulation

The 2.0 Flat Panel – R-8.5 resistance to thermal energy loss comes from a 2” deep panel system of closed-cell EPS foam. Fiberglass insulation with an R-13 insulation strength on its label is no match for this panel.

The 2.5 Flat Panel surpasses the 2.0 Flat Panel by 20%. These panels connect tighter and are better able to bridge slight irregularities along walls. The panels have a R-10.5 insulating strength, but they outperform R-15 labeled fiberglass insulation.

If finishing out your Minnesota home’s basement with insulation is your newest goal, choose the insulation that will serve you well: InSoFast insulation panels.
