Upgrade or install the insulation in your older or new-built home in North Carolina with ease when you buy InSoFast insulation wall panels.
With InSoFast insulation products, builders achieve insulation levels that meet all current and prospective regulations. Our insulation panels outperform competing batt insulation with higher R-values, and they include features meant to make installation of the panels easy while simplifying other construction processes as well. The remarkable nature of our panels has inspired DIY market interest, far beyond the commercial demographic we foresaw when we began operations in 2006 as InSoFast, LLC.
InSoFast insulation, comprised of Expanded Polystyrene foam, is inert. It doesn’t deteriorate or release toxins. Our products are appropriate for applications indoors and outdoors, on floors, walls, and ceilings. The system of insulation functions as a “wall” of insulated panels that are connected into continuous insulation coverage.
The benefits of continuous insulation (CI) should be clear. The coverage will be without thermal bridging or other gaps in coverage, ensuring that the insulation functions at maximum energy efficiency.
InSoFast insulation panels function in this manner because of the manner in which the panels connect to one another and the insulated nature of the embedded studs. Each panel has tongue-and-groove notches along the edges for connection, and the pair of studs in each CX panel is made of non-ferrous polypropylene and embedded within EPS foam. Break-free insulation coverage marks every single InSoFast insulation system.
When Used Outdoors
The exterior of a home can be insulated easily with InSoFast EXe 2.5 insulation panels. When installed, these panels comprise a continuous insulation weather screen assembly. The individual panels are 2.5” thick with an R-value of 10 but outperform traditional batt insulation of R-15 level energy efficiency. Since they’re used for exterior purposes, we skip the service raceways on these panels. Instead, we include moisture control channels on each side of the panel, doubling the effectiveness of the weather protection.
A critical benefit of choosing InSoFast Exe 2.5 panels is the fact that no adjustments to the house’s current condition will be needed. Existing weather barriers, house wraps, and even lead paint can be covered safely by a system of InSoFast insulation panels.
Further, once the insulation is in place, any finishing material can be added without complication. The built-in studs are up to holding 250 lbs. each, so builders can easily add whatever material they choose to finish the project.
When Used Indoors
Interior use InSoFast insulation product lines include UX 2.0 and EXi 2.5. The UX 2.0 insulation panel has a depth of 2” and an R-value of 8.5. The system of continuous insulation comes with a rot-resistant frame, moisture control channels, service raceways, and a straightforward design. Affordable and in line with all current and future energy regulations, UX 2.0 is an excellent insulation choice.
Stronger insulation is available in the next product, EXi 2.5. This panel has an R-value of 10 with a depth of 2.5”. Systems composed of this insulation are closely connected and remain straight and true due to the embedded studs and interconnected notches.
Whether you plan to build a new home or upgrade the insulation in your current North Carolina abode, buy InSoFast insulation wall panels to arrange for a project you can do on your own without special skills or tools.
